Steve De Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg
The foundation on which SolutionSurfers is built would not exist without the pioneering work of Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg.
With their emphasis on solutions rather than problems, Steve and Insoo have created a powerful change of paradigm in helping clients to achieve their desired state.
The Solution-Focused concept began in 1978 in the field of therapy under the name of brief-therapy or solution-focused therapy. It has since successfully expanded into other fields including coaching, change management, and consulting. The emphasis is on finding lasting solutions by building on competences and strengths and recognising signs of progress.

Faculty
Our Coach Training courses are delivered by an international faculty. All trainers are experienced Brief-Coaches - experts in using a solutions-focused approach to meet the coaching and training needs of individuals and organisations.
Peter Szabó
Peter has a doctorate in law and is the director of Brief Coach Trainings at Solutionsurfers International.
He holds the ICF's Master Certified Coach certificate (MCC).
Peter has trained over 1000 Coaches since 1997 and teaches post-graduate courses in coaching at several European universities. In his private practice he coaches both individual and corporate clients on management and life issues. He has been a member of the ICF Credentialing Committee since 2002.
Peter's latest publication with Insoo Kim Berg is Brief-Coaching for Lasting Solutions, WW Norton, New York (2005).
Daniel Meier
Daniel Meier is an experienced solutions-focused coach, who has specialized in working with teams.
He is co-founder of SolutionSurfers and in charge of the training for trainers and all the German courses.
Kati Hankovszky
Kati Hankovszky is in charge of our Hungarian courses.

Diplomáit (filológia és neveléstudomány) Budapesten és Heidelbergben szerezte, majd további főiskolai és egyéb képzéseken sajátította el a jelenlegi, személyre szabott munkához szükséges tudást és képesítést.

Gerwin Baier, Trainings & Coaching ist Partner der solutionsurfers und zertifizierter Ausbilder für die Coachingausbildung Coaching PUR. Seite 1995 in der Erwachsenenbildung tätig und seit 2002 als selbständiger Trainer und Coach, gründete er 2009 die Solutionsurfers Austria. Das Unternehmen bietet neben dem Coaching-Lehrgang firmeninterne Weiterbildungs-Programme an, mit dem Fokus auf soziale Kompetenzen in der Wirtschaft.
